Thank you, MoonEmperor, for that delightful and enlightening quiz recently. Spirit made a lot of sense, but Fire? Hmmmmm. Well, whadda ya know? The quiz was as enjoyable as the Belief-O-Matic as well. Here are my results for those of you with insatiable curiosity.

Want To Know Which Element You Are?

Truly a rare breed, you're calm and thoughtful
but still know how to live life. Things are taken slowly but your large list of experiences (yours as well
as others) can help you adapt to new situations with little trouble or people being hurt. Unfortunately,
you're the most likely to ignore yourself over other people. Emotions rule you, and though you are quick
to kindness, your anger could scare the fiercest of creatures. Learn to relax a bit and live your own life.

Best Match: Fire, they'll pull you out of your shell and teach you plenty of things in life.

Worst Match: Water, they're too intent on their emotions to notice yours.

Want To Know Which Element You Are?

Contrary to what some might believe,
you are not all physical. Sure, the flesh is there (so why not enjoy it?!), but you can be passionate
about knowledge just as much. Though sometimes prone to be spontaneous, you are on the hunt for things
that make you happy. Only have one life to live, right? Just need to learn when to cool down a bit so
that you don't forget about friends and family.

Best Match: Earth, to keep you grounded at times;
Water, only one's to put up with your wild side.
Worst Match: Air, there is nothing worse then a person
who gets more wrapped up in themselves then you do!

Yesterday was Patriots Day here in Boston and the day of the Boston Marathon as well. The city was thronged with huge crowds, ridiculous traffic, and runners of every stripe. At least a couple of these people made it onto my massage table yesterday evening after their astounding feat. I felt both honored and humbled to be able to take care of these heroes of Spirit. It took an average of four hours for each one to run the Marathon and it took me nearly that long to take care of all my clients yesterday as well, so, as one runner put it, "We're about even." :-) All in all, it was an immensely rewarding day.

This morning, courtesy of Don, I am enjoying some delicious "waterless coffee." Allow me to explain. We have one of those coffee makers with the timer...very convenient. It makes great coffee and we especially enjoy the benefits of already freshly brewed coffee when we arise first thing in the morning. However, in order for this wondrous event to take place, everything must be set up the night before. My poor Sweetie was soooooooooooo tired last night when he set things up that he inadvertently forgot one key element: water. So this morning, thanks to his lightning quick reflexes (as well as the realization of how our immediate coffe drinking future might be affected) he managed to stop the brewing process before disaster ensued. Whew! Talk about saving the day, :-). He's probably going to kill me when he reads this, but oh well, I love him and besides...the coffee is truly yummy, ;-).
