Marital Bliss (part 1)

ravenstorm27 post. Hmmm...husband...it feels SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good to say that!
How to describe this week? We spent every luscious moment together and did absolutely everything we wanted to do. We hiked in the Fells, unpacked our amazing wedding gifts, shopped, lazed about, ate too much, drank too much, saw the latest Harry Potter film on IMAX, dined swankily at our favorite restaurant (Bomboa) and received complimentary champagne and much special attention from everyone we know there. Then we had three relaxing days on Cape Cod with our dear friend, John. We grilled on the deck, walked along the beach, visited the lesbigay mecca of Provincetown and stopped at the Truro Vineyards for a wine tasting. They make a very unique cranberry infused beaujolais that we completely fell in love with.
We received so many wonderful gifts and our home is even more beautiful and more comfortable than ever. Our friends, Rick and Trish, were the first to get photos from the day-after brunch online. You can view them at:

Ours should also be up soon and pictures from the ceremony and reception are coming. David and I are wearing our blue and green "Two Weird Guys" cafe t-shirts that David's Mom and sister bought us in these pictures. One of our absolutely favorite gifts was the tramp lamp. There's a great photo of David holding it in this series.
A couple of notes regarding gifts: so many people, especially my sister and a dear friend of ours, have been utterly insane in their generosity. She sent us not one, not two, not three, but SEVEN gifts! Such a delightful Taurus lady she is. And the best part is this: of all the gifts we received the people who attended or were involved are the best gift of all. We simply could not have done all this in this beautiful way without the love and support of everyone involved. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to each of you on here and to those outside LJ who not only made this whole event possible but were there to be part of the Circle of Love with us and with the Gods as we joined our lives.
