Conflictedness

vervain13Life has turned out to be quite the challenge of late. A mixture of crazed study, life cycle celebrations, good times with friends, and sad news has been served up. In brief:
I am hotly pursuing the completion of all my homework assignments.
I enjoyed a really nice phone visit with my youngest daughter on her 10th birthday yesterday.

tigira and meadmaker and had a lot of fun.
I received a call from Mom last night confirming that my youngest sister has cancer in at least one lung...this after a protracted period of downward spiraling health.
And so here I sit...trying to process it all and not feel overwhelmed by the not-so-good parts...preparing to go out into the world today and do my best as a healer.
On a more positive note: I may have a new job this week. I soooooooooo want to give notice where I work now for something sooooooooooooooo much better.
*sigh* It's all good.
