Going Home
Jan. 14th, 2005 04:19 amIt is nearly 4:30 a.m. and I am about to head to the airport to catch a flight home to say goodbye to my sister one last time. She's been hospitalized, given a blood transfusion and more bloodwork...and everyone has been told to come NOW. According to the doctor it's a matter of days if that. I'll be fine. We'll all be fine. Soon she'll be free and without pain.
May the air carry her spirit gently.
May the fire release her soul.
May the water cleanse her (wash her clean of pain, sorrow, and suffering).
May the earth receive her.
May the wheel turn again and bring her to rebirth.
Blessed Be
