Time to Pay Some Dues
Apr. 21st, 2007 12:10 pm*with hand held to forehead in mock despair*
*le sigh*
This had to happen eventually. All my life I've been blessed with excellent vision...until now. At a follow-up visit to the opthamologist yesterday the need for reading glasses made itself known. Everyone at the eye institute was just wonderful and made the whole experience a pleasure. The doctor said that I'm one of the lucky ones, considering my age, for not needing any kind of glasses until now . Everyone else in my family had 24/7 vision correction by the time they reached forty...and this old Mary is well past that point. I really don't mind as it's just part of the aging process. What a gift to have such great vision all these years and even now only needing reading glasses.
So...anyone know where I can get a stylish pair inexpensively?
*le sigh*
