Whither thence from hither?

vervain13Listening to the current music puts me in a strange, yet peaceful frame of mind...like hearing the call of the OtherWorlds, reminding me that I've been away for far too long.
Although the weather today is breathtakingly warm, beautiful, and inviting,*sigh*,it seems good for now to remain indoors and work on the inner lanscape. It is a regrettable fact of the era in which we live that we allow ourselves to be distracted all too easily from Who we are. Ah well, as the bit and piece memories of other lives spill over into my thoughts this morning, my reflections turn to consideration of how to avoid repeating circumstances/situations which are no longer fruitful. This human thing is quite complicated.
This past week is an excellent example of just how tangled things can get. My fiance and I both had work angst...his due to too much, mine due to too little. Add to this the fact that we really haven't been able to spend much quality time together, stir vigorously with intense emotion, and you get a pot brimming over with misunderstandings, miscommunications, and mishaps. Somewhere in between the surprise gourmet dinner(complete with flowers and Champagne), the crazy work/school schedule, and start-stop-start discussion, we made it through...hearts beating in unison, :-). Goddess I love this man...he puts up with sooooooo much!
Looking again outside, methinks again the matter of being out there and decide that perhaps it is that connection with Nature which just might provide the perfect venue for that inner landscape work mentioned above. I'll go, but not just yet. It is, after all, a day off, and nothing need be jumped into, :-).
