This past weekend was simply great. To start off, the eighth season of SG-1 premiered and then...Stargate Atlantis! Wow! Oh-so-cool! Neat new special effects and a story line rich with potential for an entirely new branch of SG without infringing on the original show.
Right on the heels of this was the wedding of a couple we know beginning at the exact location where we wed just last month. It was a two part event with the intimate family and close friends only circle there by the ocean with the formal all-inclusive wedding and reception later that afternoon and evening. I don't believe I've ever seen a couple more radiant. The bride was in all her glory in her gown and the groom would have surely burst if he had smiled any more broadly. This was also Don's first time in a tuxedo ever. Did he ever look, shall we say, DEAD SEXY! Yummy! And to watch him dance? That boy has more rhythm by accident than I have on purpose, *le sigh*. Anyway we had a blast and look forward to the couple returning from their honeymoon in a few weeks.
One last charming note: among the circle of friends that know this couple and us we are said to be mirror images of each other as couples...even down to the relationship dynamics...kinda scary and fun, ;-)
