This is it people! Today and today ONLY is our opportunity to replace the current regime with a much better opportunity for change for our country and the rest of the world. Make NO mistake. What happens today determines the course for equal rights, national security, education, and the economic situation for generations to come. Those of you who are young, i.e. twenty-somethings...this is going to effect your retirement. Keep that in mind as you think about tax payer dollars funding war efforts which America has no business creating or being involved in...which erode funds for elder care among other things to no one's benefit. Remember that the incumbent is bent on CONSTITUTIONALLY discriminating against an entire segment of American citizens...people you know and love...simply because of his views rather than because of what's good and right for America. And if he and others like him will go after some people they simply don't like what's to stop him/them from going after others they decide they also don't like. You might end up on the list. We deserve freedom...ALL Americans...not most. Every American should be able to pursue life, liberty, and happiness...not simply those who fit a perceived status quo. Whoever is in the Oval Office next is likely going to determine the course of justice, on a national level, for generations to come due to new U.S. Supreme Court justice appointments he will make. Remember the statement about, "activist judges?" Can we say activist president?

My husband and I are both ill with some kind of cold today and we're staying home from work. But sick or not WE ARE VOTING. Period. We simply can't afford the luxury of not voting. Too much is at stake: the legal status of our marriage along with the rest of equal rights for GLBT Americans, decent education opportunities for our young people(future leaders), and America's standing with the rest of the world.

Better days to us all as we make history today.

The Princess Bride
I'm sure it's no big surprise to you that your
romance is The Princess Bride. A heartwarming
tale of "Twue Wuve" that has giants,
Spainards and swashbuckling. You really do
think that love can overcome anything. You may
be a touch naive but your heart is certainly in
the right place. You've probably got one of
those relationships where proper nouns have
been replaced with "Snookums" and
"Pookie Pie". Eww. Beware a cuteness
overload.
