*sigh* This morning's post finds me in a mixed emotional state, hence the unintelligible (except to me) subject title. Last night, after giving Don a nice loooooooooooong massage, we cabbed it home and feasted ourselves on leftovers from Cindy's b-day celebration, including more freshly made sushi. Shortly thereafter, we noticed that one of the cats, Jasper, was acting oddly subdued. Upon inspection, Don discovered what appears to be an ingrown claw on Jasper's right front paw. So now I sit here waiting for the vet to call and arrange a housecall to take care of our sick kitty. For me, this translates to relearning about the abundance of the Universe as I am currently stressing about the costs of this care, even though Jasper is worth far more than any amount of money. Don was an absolute hero before he left for work, offering genuine, substantial encouragement as an antidote to my angst. *tearful smile* This man is the living example of that abundance. *sigh* Great Mother, could it possibly get better than this? Told you I was in a mixed emotional state...apparently one which is in flux as I write this. Anyway, in my LJ surfing this morning, I came across this great quote which made for some much needed laughter:

LOL. Ahhhhhhhhhh, the Universe does indeed have a great sense of humor...even for little sparks like me who forget our true Essence from time to time. Thanks for listening to my ramblings yet again, folks.
