Life Goes On
May. 21st, 2002 08:33 amThis morning feels like a storm has just passed, the clouds receding in the distance. Winston slept with us again last night and we are inclined to allow this as long as he likes. At this point, while we terribly miss Jasper, we also acknlowledge that it is important to remember him as he was...happy, attitudinal, mysterious, etc. without getting so caught up in grief as to miss the simple joy of being alive. With this in mind, it is somewhat easier to pick up the pieces and continue forward. We are planning a couple of daytrips away from home this weekend to the North Shore of Massachusetts. We had already had them in mind before Jasper ever showed any signs of illness and we feel that it would be in our best interests to go ahead with those plans rather than postpone them. It is one more way we can honor his memory by celebrating life.
On a lighter note, I discovered yet another quiz on LJ this morning and here are the results:
I am 73% worshipable! And you? Find out!
It was fun taking the test and seeing where things ended up. *contemplative sigh* Life does indeed go on.
