Grief is so draining. No matter the amount of sleep I get, I awaken and go through every day feeling drained. Waves of grief lap at the shore of my soul...sometimes gently...sometimes not...I am still awash in grief...when will it end? Monday I am going for counseling and hopefully will come away with some tools and/or suggestions about how to effectively deal with the steady raw ache that is my constant companion. I do not consider this process to be an enemy but rather a valuable experience which I will one day reflect on and hopefully treasure. We shall see.
